A bright, modern training and business hub
The South East Cornwall Rural Business Centre is set amid the unspoiled tranquility of the Cornish countryside at the heart of Antony Estate on the beautiful Rame Peninsula. Formerly a collection of disused barns at Antony Pedigree Farm, the impressive stone-built buildings have been sympathetically restored, preserving many of the original architectural features. Today, the buildings provide a bright, modern hub for business, training, and community use, in a traditional setting that is entirely evocative of rural life.
As the custodians of these wonderful buildings, we are keen to ensure that they are used for the benefit of our rural community and rural business development. As such, they provide state-of-the-art meeting, conferencing and training facilities, shared office, workshop space and incubation hub for micro, small and start-ups businesses, communal gardens, and some 4,000 acres of woodland and farmland where those who study with us can learn and perfect their forestry or horticulture skills.
Our ethos is built around the key strategic themes of Aspiration, Inspiration, Innovation, Collaboration & Diversification and seeks to underpin sustainable, profitable and community orientated lifestyles in modern, rural England – Setting the standard that others will inevitably follow.
The Rural Business Centre is the only specialist land-based training facility in Cornwall and offers a wide variety of training and learning opportunities to students at all stages of their careers. Whether fresh from school or needing to re-validate essential industry licences, the Centre offers expert tuition in a wide range of specialisms, together with tailored career advice and guidance for those that require it.
Entrepreneurs and small business owners alike find that they benefit a great deal from the supportive and nurturing environment that can be found in this area of the campus.
